Anthrophonics” is an audio project preserving the sounds of locations and moments I know will be revisited in the future.   I’m capturing audio with high-quality microphones and equipment, recording long takes (at least ten minutes).  This will allow audio files to be more loop-able and all-encompassing, thus allowing the listener (me) to become even more sonically enveloped in a place from the past.

Below are the first collections - where I grew up in Maine, my family camp on Lake Winnipesaukee, my home in Los Angeles, and traveling back east for the holidays.  A full spectrum of places I've always wanted to preserve.

Everything's on Soundcloud as well.
